Where Can We Find Faithful Leadership?

Faithful AND Strong leadership is in short supply in nearly every realm of society today. This is especially true in the local church. As the trend toward decline in participation among mainline denominations and local churches accelerates, fewer and fewer people are attending seminary, resulting in fewer and fewer ministers who are equipped to serve local churches in a rapidly changing world. Which begs the question, where can churches look, both now and in the future, for the kind of leadership that is desperately and urgently needed? In our final session, we will explore some of the characteristics that all strong servant leaders share, as well as where they can be found.

To prepare for this week’s session, be thinking about the characteristics you believe are necessary (and why) for faith-full servant leadership in the local church.
